Hey the project is a 24 story tower with levels spaced 3 6m apart we have to change them all to 3 5 there are a lot of groups involved is there any way for me to have all the floors change to the same distance togeather at the same time i tried making them all equal and then moving the lowest one no luck the computing time it takes is horrendous and the groups breaking is annoying.
Changing floor plan heights in revit.
If you only want the wall visible in the plan view as it appears in the view range of level 3 you can clip the wall from view using the depth clipping parameter.
Revit revit help autocad revit.
So i need the cut plane at the elevation more than 1700.
The reason why we can t see it is that they are placed above the cut plane of the plan s view range.
Set a level and a height offset for each of these parameter.
The floor plan cut the model at elevation 1200 mm but the windows sill height are at 1700 mm.
Every plan view has a property called view range also known as a visible range.
Use the depth clipping parameter to display parts of a model below the cut plane.
The top and bottom clip planes represent the topmost and bottommost portion of the view range.
The view range is a set of horizontal planes that control object visibility and display in the view.
The back clip plane is defined by the view depth parameter which is.
In a floor plan view the key parameters are cut plane and bottom.
But when you open the floor plan you can t see the windows.
About the view range.
You activate this feature using the depth clipping parameter for the plan view.
The horizontal planes are top cut plane and bottom.
Same tool can be used with grid.
Everything cut by the pink line like in the image below will display in thick lines.
