Help character halfway under ground during custom animation.
Character controller falls through floor.
While i cannot explain to you why exactly i do know that when fiddling around with physics stuff in the templates i would be able to play a level fine and then upon changing the value of that checkbox for either the floor or character mesh i was falling through the floor.
I ve tried turning on collision in the deckhouse s modify panel.
Character controllers are not meant to be used with a rigidbody.
And i ve tried linking the avatar to the deck.
Duplicate model animate the copy with animator controller put the anim in new customoverride put customoverride in custom standing anims.
The character controller is mainly used for third person or first person player control that does not make use of rigidbody physics.

I ve never seen this before and my player character is using a character controller a ton of complex scripts including my own managed internal gravity and colliding with the very same colliders the npc s are yet the player character never falls through the world.
